These artifacts raise awareness of how concrete overtakes and eventually replaces natural habitats.
Just as fossils preserve extinct species, the work symbolizes the ongoing destruction of nature, potentially leading to a point where nature is no longer present, but only exists in these artifacts.
Wooden logs were placed in concrete cuboids. By burning them out, the negatives of the wood remained in the material.
